INTERNSHIPS
If you are interested in combating white supremacy and the structural racism of our immigration system by working in solidarity with refugees at the US-México border, you’ve come to the right place. If you would like to learn what it means to approach this work from an abolitionist #burnitalldown perspective, Al Otro Lado is the organization for you. Al Otro Lado continues to provide legal orientation and advocacy to asylum seekers in Tijuana, Mexico and border-wide through an almost entirely remote service delivery model, and we have internship opportunities available!
To apply, please fill out our Volunteer Application. If you have any questions, feel free to email our Intern Coordinator at volunteer@alotrolado.org.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; however, the openings for each season are determined a couple of months in advance.
